Lauren and Guy’s initial plan was a large wedding in front of their family and friends, at the beautiful Sunshine Beach Surf Club. Thanks to Covid border restrictions their big celebration morphed into an elopement. Emotions are always heightened during an elopement and this one was no different.

I had the pleasure of meeting Lauren as a bridesmaid during a previous wedding I photographed in Noosa. Lauren knew immediately that we were the right photographers to capture her own wedding day. I appreciate all of my couples, but when you are able to follow along with someone’s journey it is particularly special.

Pre wedding Lauren had mentioned that that her and Guy weren’t overly comfortable in front of the camera, telling me I would have my work cut out for me. Ahh nope! With our style of shooting Lauren and Guy were quickly at ease and looked like pro’s in front of the camera. We do our absolute best to have our couples enjoy their afternoon, authentically capturing their love as it unfolds. These two were legends, even before sipping bubbles from the bottle.
